Showtime Boxing Canelo vs Jermell Promo Design

King of the Ring

For the Canelo Álvarez vs. Jermell Charlo promo, Showtime wanted to own the idea of kings. Joseph designed a gritty, gold-drenched urban environment with distinct symbolism for each fighter.

A lion for Jermell Charlo, King of the Jungle. A Mexican eagle for Canelo Álvarez, King of Mexico. Two dominant fighters stepping into the ring to see who would wear the crown.

Taped Up

For the Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva promo, Joseph was inspired by the gritty taped hands of boxers in training. Boxing tape became the key design motif, holding typography, framing the fighters, and weaving Showtime’s signature red and black branding throughout.

Dissected

The Gervonta Davis vs. Rolando Romero promo was literally dissected and analyzed. A tech-inspired grid crops and juxtaposes close-ups of each fighter alongside stats and matchup details.

Each boxer, each punch, and the potential of the fight are cropped and contrasted, building tension for the upcoming bout.
