Overview
A wide range of creative concepts and promotional designs have been developed for Showtime Championship Boxing over the past couple of years. They range from conceptual show opens to shoot style boards and promo design packages.

Show Open Concept
Showtime Championship Boxing has a history of creating boxing legends who define the sport. They are revered in their communities and looked up to by the up-and-coming boxers. We celebrate this with a pantheon of boxing gods built out of black stone.
Ethereal gold interweaves through iconic boxing statues frozen in time. The impact of a boxing punch shatters the stone exterior releasing the molten gold interior. The gold swirls reflect classic boxing moments as they past by camera coalescing into the Showtime Championship Boxing logo.

Shoot concept
For the Showtime Boxing Paul vs Woodley promo a live action shoot was needed since there was no existing footage. The concept of a holographic world was developed to bring these two boxers together. The fighters are uploaded for a virtual fight of theirs lives in a fully digital world.
To create the digital environment a variety of tech inspired design elements were combined with distortion effects and particle dispersions for moments of boxing impact.

Style Guide
A holographic color scheme was developed to match the creative. It was paired with a digitally distressed geometric typeface for the main messaging and code inspired sans-serif. Additionally I designed small tech elements, a custom grid and distortion effects to be used throughout the design and compositing.

Brand Spot
Pulling directly from vast archives of Showtime Championship Boxing fights, the brand spot takes us on a timeline journey through boxing greatest moments. A dramatic and glossy world of footage, typography and key boxing moments flies past camera. It climaxes in a flood of clips and the final countdown to Showtime Championship Boxing.

A range of design directions are explored for each matchup allowing the client to visualize a wide variety of approaches.
For the Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva fight boxing tape and event tape was used as a design motif. The tape holds typography and interweaves the showtime red and black brand throughout the promo.
